Independently owned Sauce & Flour has opened its first ever artisan deli and restaurant in Shanly Homes’ and Sorbon Estates Waterside Quarter Development in Maidenhead. This new family-run business brings a unique offering to Maidenhead, using the freshest and best ingredients together to produce flavoursome combinations at an affordable price.
Sauce and Flour serves home-made pastas, sauces, and bread, creating an authentic Mediterranean feel to Maidenhead’s new food quarter, which already hosts Coppa Club and Bakedd. Customers have the option to eat at the restaurant or buy ingredients from Deli. This business model cuts outthe middleman as the produce is made by Sauce and Flour, and sustainably sourced from local suppliers, rather than mass produced.
Founded by couple, Flavio and Sandra, they have had the pleasure of working alongside various chefs in London locations including, Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver. Future plans include cookery classes along with wine tasting sessions which will bring to life to the cosmopolitan feel of the location.
Set on the stylish yet relaxing waterways of Maidenhead, Sauce and Flour fits seamlessly into its casual waterfront dining experience, where families, colleagues and friends can sit down for a bite to eat in the restaurant or explore the deli range.
Waterside Quarter is an exciting development for Sorbon Estates who is working closely with the Shanly Group to revitalise the heart of Maidenhead as a cornerstone of the community. The area combines high-quality mixed-use accommodation alongside an exciting range of restaurants, all carefully tailored to modern lifestyles.
